About Brent Mekosh

Brent Mekosh spent a year touring four dozen countries on six continents prior to moving to Arizona in 2007 to open Mekosh Financial Services in Scottsdale. A 10-year veteran of Wall Street, Brent Mekosh served as a Specialist Trader at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), contributing as a Vice President of Financial Services for Bear Wagner Specialists LLC. He held responsibility for overseeing new business development and built a successful track record for bringing numerous IPOs to the NYSE trading floor. Besides his trading expertise, he operated with professionalism in an often chaotic environment.

During his tenure, Brent Mekosh also earned his M.B.A. in International Business and Finance from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. Before starting his career, Brent Mekosh earned a B.A. in Finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Founded to preserve and increase wealth for clients with considerable assets, Mekosh Financial Services functions as a branch of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. Aside from leading his firm, Brent Mekosh recently became a Certified Estate Planner to enhance his expertise regarding retirement strategies, legacies, and trusts. A 2009 graduate of Scottsdale Leadership Class XXIV, he joined the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations and the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council. Furthermore, the Phoenix Business Journal acknowledged him for his growing local influence through inclusion in the Forty Under 40 list.

A certified scuba diver and instrument-rated land and sea pilot, he belongs to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Brent Mekosh has served as a board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and a founding donor of Arizona Autism United. He is also a sponsor of the Sharon India Foundation, a nonprofit ministry that aids pastors in India.
